"Translation of Holmes's Stories" by DATE Hisayoshi (p59-63). Compare of several translations FINA, BLAC, ILLU in Japanese.

"Okamoto Seizo, son in law of Minakata Kumakusu, and Mystery" by NAKANISHI Hiroshi. Nakanishi is famous for study of MINAKATA Kumakusu, one of the most famous Japanese natural history scholar of Meiji era, and studied in London in his youth. There are no mention on Holmes by Minakata, but his son in law Okamoto mentioned Doyle here and there.

"The Identity of the Illustrious Client" by HIRAYAMA Yuichi(p71-83). First published in English in CANADIAN HOLMES. The Illustrious Client was not Prince of Wales, but his younger brother, Duke of Connaught.

"It is a half and 54 miles, Dr.Watson" by ENDO Takahiko (p85-96). It was not 53.5 miles, but 54.5, and it would be easy to get its solution with this figure.
